Category BPAs Awarded

DoD ESI is pleased to announce that Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing, Modeling, Simulation & Engineering Software and Solutions BPAs are now available to all Department of Defense organizations. These are ten-year agreements with a period of performance from 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2029.

Blanket Purchase Agreements were awarded to Adacel Inc., DLT Solutions LLC (Autodesk), Carahsoft Technology Inc. (Trimble), Immix Technology (PTC) and Simigon Inc. under the DoD ESI for CAD/CAM products. Products include software licenses, software maintenance support, subscriptions, and information technology professional services.

Products include: Computer Aided Design, 3D Modelling, 2D Drafting, Product Data Management (PDM), Simulation/Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), Product Life-Cycle Management (PLM), Concurrent Engineering, Computer-Aided Machining (CAM), Building Information Modeling (BIM), Advanced Real Time Rendering, Mobile Access to CAD, Augmented/Virtual Reality, 3D Printing Solutions, and Support Services.

IT Research and Informative Services Category-Based BPAs Awarded

DoD ESI is pleased to announce that it has awarded Category-based BPAs available to all Department of Defense organizations that provide Information Technology Research and Informative Services consisting of expert advice on a broad range of technical topics that specifically focus on industry and market trends aimed at saving time, mitigating risk, and empowering clients to make informed business development decisions.

ITAM Category BPAs Awarded

DoD ESI is pleased to announce that Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) BPAs are now available to all Department of Defense organizations. These are ten-year agreements with a period of performance from 15 July 2019 to 14 July 2029.

Blanket Purchase Agreements were awarded to DLT Solutions, LLC under DoD ESI for Appdynamics, Archibus, Cloudbees, Flexera, and Polyverse.  Products include software licenses, software maintenance support, subscriptions, and information technology professional services.

Microsoft Enterprise Services (MES) IDIQ Now Available

DoD ESI is pleased to announce that a Microsoft Enterprise Services (MES) IDIQ ("Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity") is now available. This IDIQ is for Services only such as Consulting Services and Premier Support, which support Enterprise-level technology planning, design, development, architecture, code, and deployment. These are provided through 24/7/365 Mission Critical Reactive Support, support of performance concerns, disaster recovery, configuration assistance, unrestricted access to Microsoft software developers, and customized Microsoft product-based solutions.

Directive 8470.01E Approved: Secretary of Navy to Act as Executive Agent

November 5, 2018

DOD Directive 8470.01E, approved by the Deputy Secretary of Defense and went into effect 6 September 2018, announced that the Secretary of the Navy would serve as the DoD Executive Agent (EA) for commercial software product management of Core Enterprise Technology Agreements (CETAs) designated by the Defense Business Council (DBC) in support of Information Technology Category Management (ITCM) and the DoD Enterprise Software Initiative, in accordance with DoD Directive 5101.1. It also establishes policy and assigns responsibilities for the execution of ESI CETA Agreements. Core Agreements consist of those agreements that are in highest demand.

The nomination and transition from existing ordering agreements into CETAs is an ongoing process. Therefore, until the process is complete for each respective agreement, customers should continue to order in accordance with DoD DFARS 208.74 via current ESI agreements.
